Breast Cancer Causes

Although there is no definite findings that point to exact breast cancer causes, it has been proven that extreme stress can increase the possibility of getting cancer, but it also causes a greater likelihood of a relapse of cancer. Studies have proven that women, who are more distressed, are at a higher rate for breast cancer.

Although some studies have found no correlation between breast cancer causes and stress, others support that the immunosuppression may be a factor in the progression of cancer. When the immune system is not functioning properly, due to an overload of stress, the cancer itself may increase.

Social stress such as the death of a loved one, separation and divorce as well as difficulties in moving house is associated with the reoccurance of breast cancer.

Breast cancer causes have not been proven, but increased stress levels have shown to increase tumour growth. The effects of stress reduces our immune's system functioning making our body vulnerable to the growth of cancer, colds, flus, illness and disease.

Breast cancer causes psychological stress. Women who have been diagnosed experience an extreme amount of extra stress in their lives as they face diagnosis, treatment, recover and long-term survival.

Many experience the diagnoses of cancer extreme and suffer maladjustment problems as worries about finances, social value, physical functioning, and the possibility of death fills their thoughts. The physical side effects of cancer are the result of chemotherapy and radiation.

If breast cancer is in the family, or you feel more anxious about getting breast cancer, this could increase your stress levels and make you more vulnerable. It is advised to speak to a counselor or a physician about your worries and to alleviate your mental stress and concerns.

A good social support is considered to be a buffer against the psychological effects of breast cancer causes. Support boosts resilience and has a calming affect which in turn reduces stress affects and allows the body to begin the healing process. Stress management strategies not only increase the quality of life for people with breast cancer, but also increases their chance for complete recovery. When the body is in a relaxed state, the immune system functions at an optimal state and uses its natural ability to heal illness and disease.
