Anxiety Stress Symptoms


Anxiety stress symptoms. Everyone experiences stress and it's symptoms in day to day life. Stress is beneficial to keep us motivated and interested.

A large amount of stress is detrimental to our health and well-being.

Long term, untreated stress can become an anxiety disorder.

Stress is normal, but if it continues and you are unable to resolve the situation then it can lead to anxiety.

If anxiety persists and is severe it can evolve into an anxiety disorder and can interfere with your every day life. This may include your ability to socialize and go out in public.

People who experience an anxiety disorder may be experiencing panic attacks. Common symptoms include: Chest pains/tightness,shortness of breath, stomach upsets and nausea, dizziness, insomnia, headaches,uncontrollable sweating, heart palpitations, etc.

Anyone who suffers from anxiety and panic may have negative anxious thoughts running through their heads that they are unaware of. These might make you feel worried, making sleeping difficult, create headaches and make it challenging to function in a public place. These thoughts make you feel out of control of the situation bringing on a feeling of panic and anxiety.

Defining anxiety:

Anxiety is characterized by constant intense emotions of fear and worry about every day life events. It is the tense anticipation of an event that is perceived to be threatening.

Anxiety is a response to a danger or threat. Its purpose is to protect you from harm, although in today's society anxiety is detrimental to our health.

People with an anxiety disorder tend to expect the worst and can’t stop worrying. Every moment of their lives remains in a state of fear, worry and dread. If this state of heightened intense emotions continues to worse it can interfere with daily functioning.

Anxiety affects your health and well-being in many ways.

During anxiety or a panic attack the sympathetic nervous system increases our heartbeat rate, speeds up the blood flow throughout the body, and makes sure that areas of the body are well supplied with oxygen. This happens in order to prepare the body to protect itself.

Anxiety stress symptoms. may be rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, shortness of breath....
